Overview
As an artist you will most likely want to upload your biographical, photo, song and lyric files up to the system as soon as possible.
The process for performing this task is to first of all get your files up to the appropriate iBuddz server used to store artist information where
an iBuddz Artist Support person will then update the appropriate database with your information and make sure your artist information is moved to
the correct location for files only pertinent to you.
How To Upload My Files?
The upload process is extremely simple.
Simply choose which type of file you wish to upload (biographical (text), photo (jpg) or music (mp3)) by choosing the correct link on the left panel
once you've chosen the 'Upload Artist Information' main link at the top of the page. For each type of file you will be prompted to enter the number
you wish to upload and the maximum number allowed will be display. See the FAQ question 'How Many Files Can I Upload?' to see the present maximum number
of each filetype. Also see the FAQ question 'What's The Maximum Filesize For My Files?' to see the present maximum filesize for each filetype. Note that
the maximum size and number of each file type may be increased in the future if there is a demand for this.
What About Allowing Lyrics For My Songs?
We have already been asked for this feature and will be incorporated as soon as possible.
How Many Files Can I Upload?
The present number of files you can upload are as follows:
biographical file - 1
photo files - 9
music files - 9
Note that the maximum number of each file type may be increased in the future if there is a demand for this.
What's The Maximum Filesize For My Files?
The present maximum filesize for each filetype you can upload are as follows:
biographical file - 1 KB
photo files - 50 KB
music files - 10 MB

What Is An Artist Directory Key?
As an artist you must get an Artist Directory Key before any uploads. Make sure you note this key as it is your directory for all uploads.
Note that it is not an iBuddz system directory but only a staging area for your files to be uploaded. Once your files are incorporated into
iBuddz the files in this directory may be removed.
How Do I Get An Artist Directory Key?
You must be an Artist that has contacted iBuddz and asked for an Artist Directory Key. For all requests, please send an email to: artist_support@ibuddz.com.
Do I Have To Be An iBuddz Member?
All artists must be iBuddz members as you will be identified as an artist.
What iBuddz Group Would I Be Involved With?
As iBuddz strongly supports helping both musical and video independent artists, the group you would request to join is: Indie Artists.
What If I Need To Alter My Files?
Currently you cannot alter your files programmatically once they have been uploaded. As we have already been asked for this feature it
